LDPE Plastic Recycling
LDPE means low-density polyethylene. It is most commonly used in stretchable clear films such as bubble wrap, shrink wrap, cling film, plastic sheeting and some types of plastic bags and bottles.
Chemical Resistance:
- LDPE has excellent resistance to both diluted and concentrated acids and alcohols.
- LDPE has good resistance to vegetable oils, ketones and aldehydes.
- LDPE has moderate resistance to mineral oils, oxidizing agents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons.
- LDPE has low resistance to halogenated hydrocarbons.
